Ticket Vibes is committed to making events accessible to everyone.
♿ Platform Accessibility
Ticket Vibes aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Our current accessibility features include:
- Keyboard navigation: All core functions can be accessed using a keyboard.
- Screen reader support: Key interactive elements include ARIA labels for compatibility with screen readers like NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
- Sufficient colour contrast: Text and UI elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratio requirements.
- Scalable text: The platform supports browser text zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Mobile-friendly design: Our platform is fully responsive and works on all screen sizes.
- Alt text on images: Informational images include descriptive alt attributes.
- No flashing content: We avoid flashing animations that could trigger photosensitive conditions.
🔧 Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas are still being improved:
- Some event images provided by organizers may not have complete alt descriptions.
- PDF tickets are being updated for enhanced screen reader compatibility.
- Third-party payment processing (Razorpay) has its own accessibility implementation which we do not control.
We are actively working on these areas and expect improvements in upcoming releases.
🏟️ Venue Accessibility
Accessibility features at event venues vary. When available, we display venue accessibility information on the event listing page. Typical accommodations that venues in India offer include:
- Wheelchair-accessible entrances and seating areas.
- Accessible restrooms.
- Reserved parking for persons with disabilities.
- Sign language interpreters (at select events — check individual listings).
- Companion seating adjacent to accessibility sections.
For specific venue accessibility queries, please contact the venue directly or reach out to us at support@ticketvibes.in and we will assist you in connecting with the organizer.
🧏 Requesting Accommodations
If you require specific accommodations to attend an event or use our platform, please contact us at support@ticketvibes.in at least 72 hours before the event. Include:
- Your full name and booking reference.
- The nature of the accommodation required.
- The event name, date, and venue.
We will do our best to coordinate with the organizer on your behalf.
